How is Google Living Stories different than other news sources?
One of the biggest differences is the interactive and organizational ways that Google Living Stories works. Instead of searching for different articles or changes in the news story as separate pieces, Google Living Stories has everything organized under one place. It tracks changes in the story and records the parts that you have already explored. This way you don't get re-runs of articles plus you get all the articles covered by the one topic in one place with easy ways to find and access them.

Do You Think This Approach to Stories Will Help Reduce Bias in the News?
I'm not really sure what will happen in the future in relation to the bias. I think that it banks completely on the choice of what news groups will be the sources. The fewer of these sources the more likely it will be that bias is going to creep into the stories. The more sources brought in will diminish the amount of bias.

Features That Could Be Added
I think that it might be beneficial to add some sort of search for topics option.

I think that news being available online is something that is going to become a big deal in the near future. I also believe that it will be a very very long time before we are completely rid of the newspaper just because of the fact that it is readily available to a more wide set majority of people.

I didn't have to look very far for black friday deals online. I found a website Black Friday Ads 2009 which has a pletera of ads for stores. The best part is that the ads are for online, but there are also ads for in store shopping. I used this for my shopping list before I went :)

I am more for shopping in stores rather than online. Part of the fun of black friday is the craziness of the stores and waking up really early. Online buying would be a very helpful way to shop for some people, but personally I prefer going to the stores and standing in line. The online part can be good for things like kitchen or technological products because you don't have to try something on or get food in person. Most of the things that I shop for are the clothing which has to be tried on or the food type of deals that can't be done online.

These are a few of the things that I went for this year.
JCPenny for clothes, nothing specific
Meijer had magic bullets that me and my mom needed
Wal-Mart had lots of movies on sale which is perfect for christmas gifts for the people that I can't figure out what to buy.
We are also redoing our house right now so we went to Art Van and got new living room furniture and home depot for paint for all of the rooms.

That was the extent of my shopping lists. It is more for fun with my family.

1. Social Bookmarking is a way to organize online pages, links, and other such information. It is an online program that can be used from anywhere and any computer. It is more useful than just adding a page as a favorite because of its ability to organize with tags. This gives you the ability to label sites using your own thought processes so that you remember where to find them.
2. Anyone can use social bookmarking. They can use it for personal use, but it can also be a tool that is useful when you need to share information with a group.
3. Social Bookmarking works when you download the program and then begin finding pages, sites, or links that you would like to remember or use again. You click on the button that you add after you download the program to add the link. When this is done it brings up a separate window in which you can add tags. Tags are special words that you will remember so that at a future time you can bring up the pages without having to look through 100 different pages.
4. It makes the process of finding pages less difficult because you can look through 5 pages with common links rather than 100 or 200.
5. Social bookmarking is catching on as a way for people to share information through a common place. It can be a way to find useful information in order to help with research.
6. It is useful for groups of teachers to share information, but can also be a good way for students and teachers to share information or assignments for benefit of their students.
7. There are not many negatives, but in business sometimes the extent of what you are advertising does not carry as far as you would imagine it to.
8. In comparison to traditional bookmarking, social bookmarking makes it easy to share your information. It also is a world easier to organize and find the information that you store.
9. Three Social Bookmarking Sites
Del.icio.us
Digg
Feedmarker
Out of these three I would say that I like del.icio.us the best. They all work well, I think that It is just easier to use because we have seen how it is used so it makes navigating the site easier.

Me and my friend Kayla. I was sandy from Grease and she was 80's girl :)

I am moving pretty smoothly through this project. I am going to work on recording the final project this weekend so that I have time to work with and edit it if needed. My topic is Juvenile Diabetes. It is an informational type of presentation. It includes a very broad definition of the parts of diabetes and some personal experiences. I didn't want it to be too medical because the concepts would probably get lost if diabetes is something that a person was uninformed of.

Steps for getting ready:
  1. I have already prepared my script so that there is no confusion on what is being said.
  2. I will need to download the software to my computer.
  3. Make sure that I have my PowerPoint in order and compressed so that it will fit into the allotted time limit.
  4. I am going to borrow a headset in order to record my voice.
  5. I plan on recording the final project in a quiet room.
  6. Finalize and make sure that the final project is in order and makes sense.
  7. Turn the Screen casting project in.

After all this is done I should have a great finalized screen cast!
